We welcome visits and tastings at our organic vineyard in Mayfield, East Sussex, so you can see how the wine is grown, walk the rows among the vines, and taste what comes of a season’s work. It is an unhurried, working farm rather than a visitor attraction, and that is rather the point. Whether you are a buyer weighing up whether to stock us or simply someone who loves good wine, you are welcome.
A walk and a conversation, not a slick tour
WHAT A VISIT IS LIKE
You will see the vines as they actually are for the time of year, and get a feel for the land, the river below and the hedgerows.
It usually ends with a glass, tasting the wine in the place it was grown, which tells you far more than any label could. We keep groups small and the pace gentle. If there is something in particular you want to see or taste, tell us when you get in touch and we will build the visit around it.
For trade and buyers
A good many of our stocking decisions start with a visit. If you run a shop, a restaurant or a merchant’s list and want to see how the wine is grown before you commit, this is the easiest way to do it. How to arrange a visit
Visits and tastings are by arrangement rather than drop-in, since this is a working farm. Get in touch and we will find a time that suits. Let us know how many of you there are and roughly what you are hoping for, and we will do the rest.

Can anyone visit
Yes, both trade buyers and private wine lovers are welcome. We simply ask that you arrange it first, as this is a working farm.

Will I get to taste the wine
Yes, a tasting is part of the visit, in the vineyard where the wine is grown.
Can you take a group
